Bali Fitness Adventure Itinerary August 2018

DAY 1

Welcome to your most amazing adventure holiday ever!

Saturday August 11

Arrive in Bali at Ngurah Rai Airport and be met by our driver to take you to the Bali Jade Villas in Sanur. Settle in for an afternoon as your fellow guests arrive from around the world.

 Enjoy a relaxed training session in the late afternoon to ease the kinks out of the body after your flight and then enjoy a relaxing Dinner, whilst we go over the activities for the week. You may also have to check out the sun bed for comfort around the pool

DAY 2

Sunday August 12

Today we relax and explore local beaches and cafes and culture as we start to think about our climb of Mt Agung, at 3142m it is Bali’s highest and most sacred mountain.

We will leave our villa at 9pm to arrive at Mt Agung at 11pm, and will climb through the night to reach the peak by sunrise, returning to the base of the mountain some six hours later. This will require a good level of fitness (you can’t wing it, you will have to train hard for it) and we will then return to our villa by mid afternoon on Monday

Again, the rest of the day is yours – perhaps a drive to a local orphanage? The local orphanages and schools are always looking for some support from tourists. Perhaps a donation of some toys, clothes or some books would help make the kids’ lives a little better.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DAY 3

Monday August 13

Having climbed to the summit of Mt Agung to greet the sunrise, we will be descending for around six to seven hours this morning, arriving back at Besakih Temple around lunch time. 

After the high of climbing Mt Agung, you’ll probably want a nap to refresh before a relaxed dinner around Sanur

Enjoy a relaxing full body massage to take away some of the aches and pains from your epic mountain climb!

DAY 4

Tuesday August 14

A day spent snorkelling and checking out the amazing scenery of Crystal Bay off Nusa Penida – a secluded bay set aside just for diving and snorkelling

Enjoy a cruise to and from to see Bali from a different angle.

Some other things you might like to try could include a visit to the famous temple at Tanah Lot – perhaps the infamous Bat Cave at Goa, or the relaxed lifestyle at Sanur. Bali is yours to explore!

 

May be a good time to book in for a massage…ease away some stress…you can never have too many massages!

 

                 


 

 

 

DAY 5

Wednesday August 15

High Ropes Course – Bedugul

We will go to the Botanic Gardens at Bedugul and test ourselves on their high ropes course, challenges get progressively harder as we proceed through the course. How far can you get?

Quad Biking! Enjoy seeing some amazing scenery of Bali on an All Terrain Vehicle that will be awesome fun!

DAY 7

Friday August 17

White Water Kayaking 

What better way to complete your final Bali Adventure than with a breathtaking White Water Kayaking experience. We will experience the fun of white water kayaking in two man inflatable kayaks, with an experienced guide beside us to each us how to navigate the challenges.

An awesome challenge for everyone!

Dinner at the Villa tonight to wrap up what you’ve achieved in your Adventure week and to talk about what goals you might have with your fitness in the future. You’ve shared an incredible week and made some fantastic new friends – you now have a support crew for when you get back home to keep you focussed on what you need to do.

DAY 8

Saturday August 18

We’re not finished yet with the activities – we will head to the beach at Sanur to try our hand at Stand Up Paddle Boarding – a couple of hours of fun learning how to complete the latest craze in Surfing.

You don’t need to be able to surf to do SUP – that’s what our guides are for!

Some last minute training and shopping to be done, or a couple more hours of relaxing around the pool.

Transfer from the villa to the airport. Please allow lots of time to get to the airport, however many flights depart late Saturday night, so you will still have time to pick up your last minute shopping, collect the laundry you have had the locals do very cheaply for you, and to say goodbye to the beach and your new Balinese and Adventure friends.

 

You are away for a total of 8 days/7 nights
