We have put together another awesome weekend of walks near the Great Ocean Road for you!

Staying in fantastic Riverview Cabins at Cumberland River Holiday Park on the Great Ocean Road, you’re just minutes away from amazing cafes and restaurants in Lorne but also have the luxury of getting away from it all on some stunning trails.

On Saturday we will enjoy a challenging walk from Blanket Leaf Picnic Area through Cora Lynn Cascades, past the Allenvale Mill Site to the Great Ocean Road. As always we will give you some fun with crossing creeks and walking alongside rivers to the beach!

On  Sunday we will start at Blanket Leaf Picnic Area and walk the opposite direction to Erskine Falls and then along and across the Erskine River into the Lorne Township

Don't worry, we'll have an open fire on Saturday night to help dry your boots!

Bring extra socks though and a hand towel to dry off along the trail if you can't wait until we get back to our accommodation, or you can bring wet weather sandals to cross the rivers and creeks if you prefer.

It’s all part of the BANG Fitness Adventures fun, challenging you to get out and enjoy life.

Friday 5th April 5pm to Sunday 7th April 2023 3pm

Breakfast and lunch is included on Saturday and Sunday.

Snacks on the trail included and we’ll have nibblies available Friday evening and Saturday after the walk, we'll head back to our accommodation for lunch, if you want to bring something refreshing to enjoy whilst we enjoy a campfire and the view of the river.

Dinner is included on Friday and Saturday night.

Both days will see us enjoying fantastic walks, but there is adventure ahead!

More detailed itinerary provided closer to event date with regard to walk times etc, but both days will involve approximately 4-5 hours of total walk time, around 10-12 kms each day, with plenty of opportunities to catch your breath, take photos, enjoy a snack by the river or a coffee back in Lorne at the end of the day if you like!

In order to make sure we're the right Adventure company for you and this is the right event, please click on the Trip Enquiry Tab next to the Red Book Now Button - if we're the right fit for each other then we can send you an invoice via email

No problem - you'll share a cabin with a same gender person or a couple, we usually try to make sure if you're sharing that you are with someone you have travelled with before on a BANG Fitness Adventures Experience, but we welcome first timers! Let us know if you have any concerns and we can work with you to make you as comfortable as we can

This is one of the more challening set of walks in The Otways region, so let us know what sort of training and exercise you normally do or if you have been bushwalking before and we can give you an indication of whether this event is suitable

We can deal with most dietary requirements, when you book in we will send you a link to complete a health questionnaire/emergency contact/dietary preferences form

Whilst most of our events are aimed at adults, we do welcome you to bring teenagers along - however there is limited phone reception in the holiday park itself so if they're not comfortable with that...

Trek poles can be useful whilst crossing the creeks and rivers, but they're not essential
If you have wet weather shoes such as reef shoes or waterproof sandals, you can change into them before your feet hit the water...but day 1 has lots and lots of creek crossings so you might prefer to just walk straight in and dry them off back at the accomodation

We'll ask everyone to car pool from our accommodation to the start of the walk each day. Both trails start at Blanket Leaf Picnic Area and finish elsewhere, so we'll shuttle back to the starting point to pick up cars. If you prefer not to use your car just let us know, we usually have plenty of volunteers. The drives will be no longer than 20 minutes to the start point from our accommodation
